CM Revanth Reddy prays at Tirumala for Telugu states’ harmony

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday announced plans to construct a choultry and a Kalyana Mandapam at Tirumala in Andhra Pradesh on behalf of the Telangana government. He also prayed for cordial relations between Telugu States during his maiden visit to Tirumala after becoming the Chief Minister.
Revanth Reddy, along with his wife, daughter, grandson and other family members, had darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy during the VIP break and performed special puja.
Speaking to mediapersons after the darshan, the Chief Minister said the Telangana government would construct a choultry and a kalyana mandapam on Tirumala to provide better facilities to devotees from Telangana. He stated that the Telangana government was keen to make arrangements for the devotees coming to the hill shrine from various parts of the country. He said he prayed for the development and prosperity of Telugu people and for cordial relations between both the States.
Revanth Reddy said he was keen to maintain friendly relations with the new government to be formed in Andhra Pradesh to address inter-State issues. He revealed his plans to meet the new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh after the results are announced and discuss the pending issues between the States to take necessary measures to resolve them. He hoped for a good crop from the next season and help the farmers in overcoming problems caused by drought in the current Rabi (Yasangi) season.
