CMC identifies 22 illegal constructions; 14 razed, six to face action
The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation demolished 14 unauthorised buildings and issued notices to two others during an enforcement drive across three zones. Officials said six more structures would be taken up for demolition under prescribed procedures.

Hyderabad: As part of ongoing inspections, officials of the Town Planning, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) identified 22 unauthorised buildings under construction across all three zones on Friday.
Officials demolished 14 of 22 unauthorised buildings, served notices for two structures and will take up the remaining six for demolition under prescribed procedures and applicable regulations, a press statement said.
CMC commissioner G Srijana directed the town planning and enforcement teams to continue field-level identification and monitoring of unauthorised constructions. She said the enforcement drive would continue, with all identified unauthorised constructions facing necessary action under prescribed procedures and regulations, it said.
