Hyderabad: The cold wave that has gripped Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana for the past three to four days is showing signs of subsiding, with minimum temperatures in many regions rising by 2 degree Celsius to 4 degree Celsius.
Despite the cold wave easing a bit, chilly weather conditions accompanied by fog and haze still prevail in Hyderabad with many locations recording average minimum temperatures (between Sunday evening and Monday morning) ranging from 10 degree Celsius to 14 degree Celsius. Till a few days ago, the minimum temperatures at these locations hovered between 8 degree Celsius and 10 degree Celsius, a clear indication of rising temperatures in Hyderabad.
Similarly, minimum temperatures have increased in districts including Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad and Sangareddy districts, which were under the influence of a severe cold wave until yesterday.
Although chilly, the minimum temperatures in these regions on Monday morning ranged from 8 degree Celsius and 10 degree Celsius, while on Sunday, the average minimum temperatures were between 5.9 degree Celsius and 8 degree Celsius.
