Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao accused the Congress of resorting to desperate measures to win the Jubilee Hills by-election. He cited recent promises to film workers and the reported induction of Mohd Azharuddin into the Cabinet, to cover the government’s failures to implement its promises.

In a sharp rebuke on X, Rama Rao said the ruling party has woken up to ground realities only after two years in office and is now trying optics over governance. He pointed to the Ministers desperately running around in Hyderabad lanes like never before, to woo the voters.
