Hyderabad: Terming the Congress party as a “parasite”, BJP national president and union Minister JP Nadda alleged that Congress was winning polls with the support of regional parties and destroying them after coming to power.

Addressing a public meeting as part of the programmes organised by State BJP unit to expose the failure of the Congress government in the State on Saturday, Nadda said the Congress had become so weak that it could not win polls without the help of regional parties. The Congress was standing on crutches and would fall anytime, he said.

Stating that the future of people of Telangana was with the BJP, Nadda claimed that BJP was the only party which could develop Telangana. “Whichever State BJP has formed the government, it has developed and people have benefited. We will not disappoint the people of Telangana,”he said.

Union Coal Minister and BJP state president G Kishan Reddy alleged that the Congress government failed to effectively implement any schemes and deliver the Six Guarantees it promised during the Assembly elections. He claimed that all sections of the people in the State were fed up with the Congress government as they were feeling cheated by it.

Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay warned that if the Congress government failed to fulfil all the poll promises by Sankranti festival, the BJP would not allow Congress leaders to roam in the State and would question them about the poll promises.
