Hyderabad: BRS MLC Dasoju Sravan on Thursday strongly condemned the controversial Hyderabad Industrial Land Transformation Policy of the Congress government in the State, stating that the ruling party was attempting to execute a huge land scam in the name of the policy.

Led by former Minister Mahmood Ali and Sravan, a team of BRS leaders conducted a stock-taking exercise in Bahadurpur Chandulal Baradari Industrial Area on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, Dasoju Sravan said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was systematically plotting to capture industrial lands.

“The government is using land valuation as a political tool to divert and loot crores of public money. For the last two years, the Congress administration has been obsessed only with land-centric governance, sidelining the real issues faced by the people,” he added.

“The HILT policy is nothing but a mechanism to encroach upon industrial lands, posing grave risks to industries, investors, and employment opportunities. By targeting the industrial sector, the backbone of Telangana’s economy, the government is jeopardising the State’s economic stability, he said, urging the government to immediately withdraw the HILT policy and asserted that the BRS would continue to resist this anti-industrial move by mobilising public support to protect lands, rights and the future of entrepreneurs.

Jubilee Hills Corporator Veldanda Venkatesh, former Somajiguda corporator Mahesh Yadav, Muked Chanda, former Yakutpura MLA candidate Sama Sunder Reddy, and a host of others including Puste Srikanth and Azam Ali accompanied him.
