Siddipet: A senior Congress leader was found murdered on the outskirts of Rajakkapet in Dubbak town on Friday. Vanga Bal Reddy (50), who served as the Marketing Committee chairman of Dubbak and was a resident of Chellapur, was found with multiple stab injuries on his body.
The incident created tension in Dubbak town, with a land dispute suspected to be the reason behind the murder of Bal Reddy. Police registered a case and shifted the body to the government hospital in Dubbak for postmortem examination. A probe is under way.
