Constables save man who attempted suicide in Medak
After receiving a call on dial 100, the constables rushed to the spot and found that Raju had locked himself up in a room. Reddy and Mahendar broke open the doors to see Raju hanging from the ceiling. They brought him down immediately.

Medak Blue Colt constables saved the life of a man, who attempted suicide at Devaiahgudem Thanda in Shivvampet mandal on Wednesday midnight, by performing CPR on him.
According to the police, Blue Colt constables Vishnuvardhan Reddy and Mahendar received a dial 100 call from the family members of one Raju. The constables rushed to the spot and found that Raju had locked himself up in a room. Reddy and Mahendar broke open the doors to see Raju hanging from the ceiling. They brought him down immediately. Reddy performed CPR for a minute to revive him. Later, they rushed him to the area hospital in Narsapur in an ambulance and then to the government hospital in Sangareddy for further treatment.
Raju reportedly attempted suicide after consuming excessive liquor. His family members thanked the police for their timely response. After coming to know, SP D Uday Kumar Reddy appreciated both the constables.
