Cops gearing up for smooth conduct of Bonalu festival in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police are all prepared for the forthcoming Bonalu festival in the city. City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said police officers of local zones were visiting and holding meetings with temple committees to ensure smooth conduct of the festival.

The Jagadamma Mahankali temple at Golconda, Ujjaini Mahankali temple in Secunderabad and Simhavahini Mahankali temple at Lal Darwaza are important places for the Bonalu celebrations. “Collectively, we will all ensure the festivities pass off smoothly. I appeal to the people to cooperate with the police,” he said.
