Hyderabad: The Banjara Hills police are yet to arrest the person who allegedly assaulted and robbed Telugu actor Shalu Chaurasiya earlier this week.
The police have formed three special teams and are examining CCTV footage from the surroundings of KBR Park to identify and nab the suspect. As the incident occurred in a secluded spot, which was quite dark too, tracing the suspect has become a task for the police.
Meanwhile, the actor told the police that she was going for a walk at the park for three years and that she had never been so terrified. The suspect had gagged her mouth with a cloth and dragged her into the bushes near the main gate on Sunday. She had told him that she would give him money and took out her phone as if to pay from e-wallet, but instead dialed 100 to inform the police, he attacked her. He also tried to attack her with a boulder, which she resisted by attacking him and escaping from the spot, she said.
