Hyderabad: Socialite and Tollywood producer T Shilpa Chowdary was granted conditional bail by a local court here on Thursday.
Earlier this week, Shilpa’s counsel filed a bail petition, which was posted for hearing and a counter was also filed by the Narsingi police. The court, after hearing both sides, granted her bail. It directed to submit two sureties too.
Shilpa, was arrested by the Narsingi police on November 26, on charges of cheating several people from elite and business families and celebrities to the tune of several crores in the guise high returns and profits for investments.
