Covid-19: Telangana registers 502 new cases, three deaths on Monday
Between Sunday and Monday, 46,597 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 364 samples were awaited

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 502 new Covid-19 infections and three fatalities on Monday taking the overall toll to 1,461 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,70,318. As on Monday, there were 9,627 active Covid-19 cases in the State. A total of 894 persons recovered on Monday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,59,230 with a recovery rate of 95.89 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 93.9 per cent.
Between Sunday and Monday, 46,597 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 364 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 55,00,058 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,70,318 have tested positive and 2,59,230 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included four from Adilabad, 33 from Bhadradri, 101 from areas under GHMC, 11 from Jagtiyal, four from Jangaon, nine from Bhupalpally, four from Gadwal, six from Kamareddy, 25 from Karimnagar, 30 from Khammam, three from Asifabad, six each from Mahabubnagar and Mahabubabad, 11 from Mancherial, six from Medak, 46 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 12 from Mulugu, six from Nagarkurnool, 23 from Nalgonda, six from Nirmal, seven from Nizamabad, 11 from Pedapalli, eight from Siricilla, 32 from Rangareddy, 12 from Sangareddy, six from Siddipet, 19 from Suryapet, seven from Vikarabad, nine from Wanaparthy, seven from Warangal Rural, 24 from Warangal Urban and eight from Yadadri.
