Covid19: Telangana registers 643 new cases, four deaths on Friday

Hyderabad: Telangana reported 643 new Covid infections and four fatalities on Friday taking the number of deaths to 3,778 and the total number of positive cases to 6,40,012. The number of active cases in the State was reported at 9,729.
On Friday, authorities conducted 1,20,530 tests, of which results of 912 samples were awaited. A total of 767 individuals recovered with a recovery rate of 97.88 per cent on Friday.
So far, a total of 2,11,04,249 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,40,012 had tested positive and 6,26,505 persons had recovered.
The cases reported from the districts included seven from Adilabad, 19 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 77 from areas under GHMC, 22 from Jagtiyal, six each from Jangaon and Jayashankar Bhupalpally, four from Jogulamba Gadwal, two from Kamareddy, 68 from Karimnagar, 57 from Khammam, two from Komarambheem Asifabad, five from Mahabubnagar, 15 from Mahabubabad, 22 from Mancherial, five from Medak, 29 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, six each from Mulugu and Nagarkurnool, 35 from Nalgonda, two from Nirmal, nine from Nizamabad, 46 from Peddapalli, 17 from Rajanna Siricilla, 31 from Rangareddy, 10 from Sangareddy, 11 from Siddipet, 41 from Suryapet, four from Vikarabad, three from Wanaparthy, 10 from Warangal Rural, 54 from Warangal Urban and 12 from Yadadri Bhongir.
