Cow vigilantes incident: AIMIM MLC, Corporators booked for trespassing at RGIA police station
Police officials allege that the MLC and his associates interfered with police duties, intimidated them and unlawfully entered the station.
Hyderabad: The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) police have registered a case against AIMIM MLC Mirza Rahmath Baig, two corporators and several others for allegedly obstructing policemen on duty and trespassing into the police station on Monday night.
According to available information, Mirza Rahmath Baig, along with party corporators Hussaini Pasha and Zaffer Khan and several others had allegedly barged into the RGI Airport police station after some gau rakshaks (cow vigilantes) reportedly attacked cattle traders on Shamshabad road.
Police officials allege that the MLC and his associates interfered with police duties, intimidated them and unlawfully entered the station. An investigation is underway.
