CURAPOD partners with VridhCare to support elderly residents in old-age homes
CURAPOD has partnered with VridhCare Quality of Life Foundation to support elderly residents in old-age homes through pain-management awareness and demonstrations. The initiative, part of the '21 Days, 21 Fathers' campaign, also includes caregiver training and mobility-focused wellness outreach.

Hyderabad: The makers of CURAPOD, the wearable pain therapy device developed by Hyderabad-based Litemed India Private Limited, announced a partnership with VridhCare Quality of Life Foundation, India, an NGO working to help neglected elderly in old-age homes.
A team of CURAPOD visited Amma Nanna Old Age Home, engaging with 35 senior citizens and caregivers through demonstrations and awareness sessions on its personalised, non-invasive pain management technology.
Caregivers and volunteers were also trained on device usage and therapy protocols.
The initiative forms part of CURAPOD’s ongoing ’21 Days, 21 Fathers’ campaign, which seeks to encourage greater awareness and conversation about pain, mobility, and overall well-being among fathers and older adults, Suryaprakash Maguluri, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), CURAPOD, said.
Gargi Lakhanpal, Director of VridhCare Quality of Life Foundation, said, “Seniors in old-age homes generally suffer from joint and muscle pain, which is caused by a sedentary lifestyle and physical limitations”.
