Hyderabad: Cyberabad Special Branch Addititonal DCP Ravi Kumar bagged the prestigious Indian Police Medal.

Ravi Kumar, a 1991 Batch direct recruit Sub-Inspector, initially worked in extremist-affected areas. In 1999, he was awarded the Seva Pathakam and promoted as Circle Inspector. From 2016, he worked in Cyberabad as ACP Miyapur and was promoted to the rank of Additional DCP in 2018. He detected the Muthoot Finance dacoity case, for which he received Uttama Seva Pathakam in 2018. Cyberabad Police Commissioner M Stephen Raveendra congratulated Ravi Kumar.
