Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner M Stephen Raveendra on Friday held a meeting with officials of the traffic wing with regard to traffic issues and road safety.
The Commissioner, who enquired about the traffic issues being faced, asked officials to coordinate with officials of various departments and organisers of Ganesh pandals to ensure peaceful conduct of the festival. He also asked police officials to take up measures to deal with the traffic woes particularly during the monsoon and ensure there are there are no fatal road mishaps.
With IT companies slowly opening up offices and employees joining back, measures for free flow of traffic need to be taken, he added, asking officials to analyze traffic needs and issues and chalk out an action plan.
Traffic DCP SM Vijay Kumar, Assistant Commissioners of Police from all zones and other traffic officials were present.
