Cyberabad police bust prostitution racket in Kukatpally
Cyberabad police raided two houses in Kukatpally on Saturday, uncovering a prostitution racket. Two organisers and five customers were arrested, while two women were rescued.
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police on Saturday raided two separate houses at Kukatpally where prostitution was being run.
Two individuals running the operation and five customers were arrested, while two women were rescued.
Acting on a tip-off, the AHTU team of Cyberabad raided the brothels located at Sumithranagar and caught those overseeing the racket along with the customers.
The organisers were luring customers through social media platforms and collecting money from them.
The women victims were exploited, as the handlers charged heavily to customers for arranging the women but paid the victims only a meagre amount. A case has been registered.
