Telangana: ATM theft reported at Gaddapotharam municipality in Sangareddy
Unidentified miscreants broke open a Vakrangee ATM at Gaddapotharam municipality in Sangareddy district early Saturday and fled with Rs 1.60 lakh. Jinnaram police registered a case and began investigation with forensic evidence and CCTV footage analysis.
Sangareddy: Unidentified miscreants broke open an ATM operated by Vakrangee Limited at Gaddapotharam municipality in the early hours of Saturday and decamped with Rs 1.60 lakh in cash.
Police said the incident came to light after local authorities noticed damage to the ATM kiosk and alerted the Telangana Police.
Personnel from the Jinnaram police station rushed to the spot and registered a case following a complaint.
Officials from the forensic team collected fingerprints and other evidence from the crime scene, while police began examining CCTV footage from the surrounding area to identify the suspects.
Further investigation is underway.
