Cyberabad police nab 478 persons for drunk driving
Three persons whose Blood Alcohol Concentration levels were above 500 mg /100 ml were among those caught during checking
Hyderabad: Three persons whose Blood Alcohol Concentration levels were above 500 mg /100 ml were among those caught for during drunken driving checking conducted by the Cyberabad police on Saturday night.
The police caught 478 persons during the checking and the BAC level of three persons who underwent the breathe analyser test was recorded above 500 mg/100 ml while 40 persons recorded more than 200 mg/100 ml BAC level.
The checking was conducting at different places in the Commissionerate with the highest of 101 caught by Miyapur traffic police followed by 44 by Chevella police. The highest persons caught were 388 two-wheeler riders followed by 17 auto drivers, three heavy vehicle drivers and 70 car drivers. The police said that all those caught will have to appear before the court.
The Cyberabad traffic police with an aim to curb road accidents are conducting drunk driving checking at accident prone spots.
