Cyberabad police nabs 305 drunk drivers during special drive across city
Cyberabad police caught 305 drunk drivers in a special Saturday night drive, including 242 two-wheeler riders. The highest number of violations was reported in Miyapur. Most offenders were aged between 31–40, highlighting growing DUI concerns in Hyderabad's outskirts.
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police during a special drunken drive conducted on Saturday night caught 305 persons. Among those caught are 242 two wheeler riders, 16 three wheeler riders, and 47 four wheeler riders.
The special drunken drive was conducted at all the traffic police stations in Cyberabad. The highest number 52 persons were caught in Miyapur, while the Chevella police and Balanagar police caught 30 persons each, followed by Shamshabad police with 28 persons.
Of the total 305 persons, those aged between 31 – 40 years are 116 people followed by 92 who are aged between 21- 30 years.
