Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police stepped up its drive against drugs and are continuously cracking down on peddlers, bulk buyers, local retailers and transporters.
In the last three days, four cases were registered and 11 persons were arrested by the police while 45 kilograms of ganja and five grams of MDMA drug were seized. Another 160 e-petty cases were booked against persons found illegally selling tobacco products.
Cyberabad Commissioner M Stephen Raveendra said the PD Act was invoked against eight persons involved in drug-related offences. The police urged the public to pass on information pertaining to drugs on 7901105423 or on Dial 100.
