Cyberabad police to hold meeting with jewelers, finance firms
Commissioner VC Sajjanar said a meeting would soon be conducted with jewelers, finance companies and banks to explain them about taking safety precautions
Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar on Saturday warned that inter-State gang members would not be spared if they attempt to commit offence in Hyderabad and its suburbs.
Interacting with the media to inform about the arrest of an inter-State dacoits gang that committed an offence at Hosur in Tamil Nadu, he said the Cyberabad Police earlier arrested several inter-State gang members from Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh and Haryana for their involvement in various cases.
A gang from Kerala and another gang from Bengaluru was also caught by the Cyberabad Police. Sajjanar said a meeting would soon be conducted with jewelers, finance companies and banks to explain them about taking safety precautions especially on installing buzzer alarms and high-end surveillance cameras.
