Cyberabad Police warn bars and pubs to strictly adhere to guidelines

Traffic DCP S.M.Vijay Kumar on Thursday held a meeting with the representatives of bars and pubs and warned them not to allow minors and take necessary safety measures to avoid any untoward incident and nuisance incidents.

Hyderabad: Cyberabad police have warned the managements of bars and pubs to strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the police and government with regard to drunk driving and Covid-19 protocol as part of New Year celebration.

Traffic DCP S.M.Vijay Kumar on Thursday held a meeting with the representatives of bars and pubs and warned them not to allow minors and take necessary safety measures to avoid any untoward incident and nuisance incidents.


“On December 31, extensive checking for drunk driving will be taken up across the police commissionerate. Those caught driving in an inebriated condition will be dealt strictly as per law,” Vijay Kumar said.

He advised parents to monitor their children from involving themselves into unlawful activities.
