Cyberabad SHE Teams book 57 cases, rescue dozens in a week

Under Operation Muskaan-XI, the SHE teams rescued 74 children, reunited 69 children with parents and admitted 5 children in shelter homes.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad SHE Teams caught 66 persons indulging in indecent acts at public places between June 29 and July 5. It also conducted 154 decoy operations and booked 57 petty cases during the same period.

A total of 16 complaints were received from women victims through various channels. The Women Police Station in Gachibowli received a total of 29 complaints during the week. Of these, 11 cases were registered, while the remaining complainants were counseled.

During the same period, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit officials rescued nine women and two transgender persons from the flesh trade.
