Cyberabad SOT, Balanagar police bust hashish oil trafficking
Based on specific information, the Balanagar SOT team and local police apprehended three suspects—Sabavath Suman, Ramavath Lalu, and Kethavath Vijay Kumar from Nalgonda district—near Shobhana bus stop in Balanagar. A fourth suspect, Kiran from Jalaput town, Odisha, is still at large.

Hyderabad: The Balanagar team of Cyberabad Special Operations along with Balanagar police busted the trafficking of hashish oil from Odisha to Hyderabad nabbing three drug peddlers and seizing 2.59 litres of hashish oil.
Acting on specific information, the sleuths of Balanagar SOT team along with local police apprehended three suspects – Sabavath Suman, Ramavath Lalu and Kethavath Vijay Kumar, all hailing from Nalgonda district, near Shobhana bus stop in Balanagar. One suspect Kiran of Jalaput town, Odisha is absconding.
According to the police, Suman was earlier arrested by Golugonda Police of Anakapalli in AP State in 2021 and while in Visakapatnam prison, he met with Kiran. After releasing from the prison, Suman planned peddling ganja/hashish oil and roped in other accomplices.
On October 27, Suman and Ramavath went to Paderu in AP on a bike to avoid police checks and toll gates, and took the delivery of 2.59 litres of hashish oil from Kiran. On return, guided by Vijay Kumar, they were at Shobhana bus stop for a customer when the police apprehended them.
The police urged the citizens to inform any information related to dry ganja/hashish oil suppliers through Dial 100 or through Cyberabad NDPS Enforcement Cell 7901105423 or Cyberabad WhatsApp number 9490617444. Their identity will be kept confidential.
