Yadadri-Bhongir: Secretary in the CMO Smita Sabharwal on Wednesday said that the beneficiaries of Dalit Bandhu scheme should develop to the position of providing employment to unemployed also.
Along with Secretary of Tribal Welfare Raghu Bojja, Secretary of Women Welfare and Child Development Divya and Office on Special Duty (OSD) in CMP Priyanka Varghees, she held a meeting with the beneficiaries of dalith Bandhu at Vasaramarri village of Thurkapally mandal in Yadadri-Bhongir district. She also inspected the grounded units of dalithu Bandhu to the beneficiaries at the village.
She also inquired the beneficiaries of the scheme how the scheme was benefitting them in improving their incomes. She pointed out that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has launched Dalith Bandhu scheme to bring qualitative change in the lives of dalits in the state. She assured that the officials should give first priority to resolve the issues, if any arise to the beneficiaries of Dalit Bandhu scheme. At the same time, special care would be taken up by the officials in grounding of the units under the scheme, she added.
A beneficiary Bollam Lavanya, who has been sanctioned cattle units under the scheme, said that Dalit Bandhu was really brought light into their lives. She was confident that she would provide employment to her dairy farm at the village in the next couple of months.
Another beneficiaries Chennuru Manasa, who got auto carrier under the scheme, said that their family income was increased after getting own vehicle. Earlier, her husband was worked as a driver for two decades and then earning a square a meal to the family was a difficult task. But, we are, now, saving some money after the expenditure of the family needs, she added.
