Dalit Bandhu: Enumeration survey begins at Huzurabad
The government has deployed special teams to conduct the survey and complete the enumeration of beneficiaries within next five days.

Karimnagar: The survey for enumeration of beneficiaries under the ambitious Telangana Dalit Bandhu Scheme, has commenced in Huzurabad constituency on Friday. The members of Dalit community led by Telangana SC Corporation Chairman Banda Srinivas performed Palabishekham (milk bath) to the flexi of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to mark the launch of survey in Huzurabad town.
The government has deployed special teams to conduct the survey and complete the enumeration of beneficiaries within next five days. A separate pro forma comprising 48 questions was handed over to survey teams. Members of teams would visit each and every Dalit family in the Assembly constituency and collect various details to be incorporated in forms.
About 400 officials from Karimnagar and Kamalapur of Warangal Urban district are participating in survey being carried out in five mandals and two municipalities. Besides revenue officials, bank officials are also participating in the survey.
SC Corporation Chairman Srinivas termed Dalit Bandhu as a ‘Yagnam’ taken up in Huzurabad constituency on pilot basis as a boon for Dalit community. Survey, which will continue for five days, has started in various wards of Huzurabad town. Officials would collect the details of Dalit families and submit them to the government. Later, an amount of Rs 10 lakh each would be deposited in the bank accounts of all eligible families, he informed and asked the eligible persons to cooperate with the officials by providing required documents and details.
Huzurabad RDO Ravinder Reddy informed that based on the choices of occupation or business opted by the beneficiaries about the fields wherein they were interested during the survey, the officials would assist them in the selection of units and explain about benefits with that particular units. Thanking Dalits for welcoming survey teams, he urged them to cooperate with officials to complete the survey successfully.
