Karimnagar: As per a call given by the State leadership of the Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee (TGEJAC), employees, teachers, labourers, pensioners, gazetted officers and Anganwadi teachers staged a massive dharna in front of the Collectorate here on Thursday in support of the action plan of their movement.

Speaking on the occasion, TGEJAC Karimnagar district president Daram Srinivas Reddy demanded that the government immediately resolve major issues. He wanted issues such as implementation of PRC, release of six pending DAs, cancellation of CPS and renewal of OPS, sanction of pending bills and implementation of health cards, carrying out promotions, amendment of Government Orders 25 and 190 and others to be addressed quickly.

He further demanded that the government should immediately respond to the issues faced by employees, teachers, pensioners, contract and outsourced staffers and do justice to them. He clarified that the movement undertaken by the committee would be further intensified to achieve their fair demands.

Representatives and employees of various employment, teacher, labour and pensioners’ associations extended solidarity to the protest by taking part in large numbers.
