Adilabad: Various organisations belonging to weaker sections and Dalit communities across the erstwhile district on Monday expressed gratitude to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao over the government’s decision to provide financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh per family.
Members of SC Cell of TRS thanked Chandrashekhar Rao for bringing up the initiative to uplift weaker sections. They performed ksheerabhisekam to the portrait of the Chief Minister in the camp office of Adilabad MLA Jogu Ramanna. Municipal Chairperson Jogu Premender, ex-councilor Shailander Wagmare and many others were present.
Meanwhile, their counterparts of Mancherial district expressed gratitude to Rao for the government’s move to extend the monetary aid. They also performed ksheerabhiskam to the portrait of Rao. Durgam Rajesh, district president of TRS SC Cell, said that the Chief Minister was always striving for the welfare of weaker sections. The scheme was a first-of-its-kind initiative aimed at the uplift of Dalit families, he added.
Councilors Sudhamalla Harikrishna, DCCB director Erram Tirupathi, Jetti Charan and K Ellaiah belonging to Sri Vishwanatha Swamy temple, TRS party’s youth wing leaders Sudhamalla Ashok Teja, Errolla Naresh, party leaders K Gattaiah, K Rajesham, M Prabhakar, Ippa Suresh, Ch Tirupati, Ch Venkatesh, R Naresh, Dalit community leader Boda Dharmender and many others were present. Many other organisations thanked the Chief Minister and hailed him for announcing the scheme in towns and mandal centres across Adilabad, Nirmal, Kumram Bheem Asifabad and Mancherial district.
