DCP conducts student awareness and interaction programme at St. Ann’s High School in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) North Zone, S.Rashmi Perumal along with senior police officials from Gopalapuram police station, held a student awareness and interaction programme at St. Ann’s High School on Wednesday. About 350 students have participated in the awareness programs.

The program was aimed at educating school students about crucial issues affecting their well-being and safety. An attempt was made to raise awareness on topics such as physical and mental health, cybercrimes, drug abuse, and gender sensitivity.


The interaction addressed issues such as online safety, recognizing cyber threats, protecting personal information and cautious online transactions and communication. Awareness was also created on the dangers of drug abuse, understanding its effects, and need to adopt healthy lifestyle choices.

“The program’s goal was to empower students, to make informed decisions, develop healthy habits, and to understand their social responsibilities,” said Rashmi Perumal.
