DPS Nacharam: Unity, hard work will transform India

Delhi Public School, Nacharam celebrated Republic Day in all its solemnity and grandeur by going live on the digital platform. The programme commenced with the hoisting of the flag by Principal Sunitha Rao, along with euphonious singing of the National Anthem on the school premises. This was followed by a perfectly synchronized march past by the NCC students.
The ceremony was graced with the presence of chairman Malka Komaraiah, management member M Yasasvi, chief guest Dr. BVR Mohan Reddy, the executive chairman of Cyient, and Guest of Honour Subhajit Saha, the Director and the Head of the Confederation of Indian Industries.
Principal Sunitha Rao in her address reasserted the people to remember and focus on their Fundamental Duties. She praised NCC cadet Prem Krithika, a student of DPS, Nacharam for securing the best NCC cadet for Telangana and the fourth-best cadet all over India at the Republic Day Camp in the year 2020.
Dr. Mohan Reddy apprised the children about the existing reality of life that is going digital, and urged the children to make the best use of it to be good citizens of the country. Chairman, Komaraiah reminded the gathering to always feel proud of being an Indian, and also to salute the great leaders of the past and the brave army jawans who have sacrificed their lives for us.
Subhajit Saha motivated the students with nationalistic sentiments and pride for the nation’s accomplishments in various fields. M Yasasvi urged students to fight for the betterment of the environment.
The limelight was the inauguration and the poster release by Sunitha Rao, of a new initiative called ‘Nayee Disha’, an ingenious project, which works towards bringing gender sensitivity among children and also equipping young girls to become independent and self-confident. Deputy head girl Sai Shrestha and deputy head boy D. Sujay urged students to use power of youth to bring about positive changes in society.
