Drunkard beaten to death by family in Jagtial

According to villagers, Peddi Rajashekhar (33), who was addicted to liquor, used to harass his family members in an inebriated condition.

Jagtial: Vexed over the torture by a drunkard, his family members allegedly beat him to death in Pudur of Mallial mandal.

According to villagers, Peddi Rajashekhar (33), who was addicted to liquor, used to harass his family members in an inebriated condition. On Tuesday night, he went home after consuming liquor and threatened to kill his wife, children and his parents as well.

Vexed over his frequent harassment, family members thrashed him severely before locking him up in the bathroom. Unfortunately, he was found dead when the bathroom was opened in the morning.

Police have registered a case and are investigating.
