Dyson highlights indoor protection as pollen allergies surge across India

Experts say rising pollen levels—driven by climate change—are a major contributor to the prolonged allergy season. Pollen allergies, which impact 12 to 40% of the global population, tend to be especially intense in India during peak seasons.

Hyderabad: Every increasingly growing countries suffers under the heading Indian allergy-22% adolescents suffer from hay fever and more than 34 million suffer from asthma. According to experts, an increase in pollen levels is the main factor responsible for this extend allergy season due to climate change. Pollen allergies which affect 12 to 40% of the world population are particularly very severe in India during peak seasons.

The engineer of Dyson Omer Ali says that seasonal triggers have to be kept in mind. “If you get certain signs such as sneezing, running nose, itchy throat or even watery eyes during certain times of year then you’ve probably got a pollen allergy,” he says. Unfortunately, pollen doesn’t actually mean ‘spring’ because there are types that last all year, depending on the type of vegetation in the area and climate.

They are molded – a season, temperature, humidity, and time of the day-normally runtime-early morning and other hot sunny weather. So experts suggest limiting exposure outdoors when such numbers are reached.

Surprisingly, many indoor sources are still overlooked with regards to pollen. According to Dyson Global Dust Study, 90% associate household dust with pollen. Even without them, pollen can be easily stuck on hair samples and pets’ coats. It usually in house pollen settles on surfaces, fabrics and furniture.
