Hyderabad: The anti-narcotics agency of Telangana police, EAGLE Force, along with Kukatpally police, arrested two persons on Wednesday and seized 21 kilograms of ganja from them.

The arrested are Sachin Dilip Ranvare (37) and Kaukik Ganesh Raut (21), both residents of Pune, Maharashtra.

On a tip-off, the police nabbed Dilip, who was previously arrested in a ganja case in July last year. After release from jail in December, Dilip teamed up with Ganesh and started a ganja business. “On January 12, Dilip and Ganesh went to Berhampur, Odisha and procured ganja from some persons. They packed the ganja in travel bags and came to the city. While they were waiting to catch a bus for Pune at Kukatpally, the duo was caught,” said an official of EAGLE Force.

A case is registered.
