NRIs rubbished rumours that the Telangana NRIs were holding meetings in support of Rajender

Hyderabad: TRS NRI leaders on Tuesday said NRIs from Telangana State were all in support of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on the issue of removal of former Minister Eatala Rajender.

They rubbished rumours that the Telangana NRIs were holding meetings in support of Rajender.

In a statement, TRS NRI unit founder president Anil Kurmachalam said people who always wanted to see the defeat of TRS as well as Eatala Rajender, are now holding meetings and claiming that the NRIs were holding meetings in support of the former Minister. “Anyone can hold meetings in anyone’s support, but it is wrong to hold meetings under the banner of TRS NRI without prior permissions from the organisation. All those who participated in the meetings are from the opposition parties,” he said.

He stated that NRIs always supported a corruption-free society and had lauded the action initiated by the Chief Minister who dealt with corruption by a Minister in his Cabinet with an iron hand. He dared those who were holding these meetings in support of Rajender to reveal what they had done for the latter throughout these years.
