Education minister Sabitha Indra Reddy helps accident victim

The incident occurred near Dental College, when the victim was proceeding towards Chevella mandal and his motorcycle was hit by a rashly driven car.

Hyderabad: In times when people stand around recording videos of accident victims, Education Minister P.Sabitha Indra Reddy on Friday set an example by shifting a person injured in a road accident at Vikarabad district, to hospital.

The incident occurred near Dental College, when the victim was proceeding towards Chevella mandal and his motorcycle was hit by a rashly driven car. He was lying on the road with injuries on his body, with the driver who hit his vehicle fleeing the spot.

Other motorists passing by the route noticed him and rushed to his rescue. The Minister, who was on her way to Hyderabad, saw the injured person lying on the road and stopped her convoy.

She got down from her vehicle, called in her staff and ensured the injured was shifted to the hospital apart from directing officials to ensure the victim was given proper treatment.
