Eight arrested in Hyderabad’s Rein Bazaar murder case
A previous enmity led to the murder, police said
Hyderabad: The Rein Bazaar police solved the murder case of Mohd Masiuddin alias Masi Don, a listed rowdy sheeter of Falaknuma police station which was reported on Monday and arrested eight persons in connection with the killing on Tuesday. A previous enmity led to the murder, police said.
Officials seized four knives, four bikes and five mobile phones from them.
The arrested persons are Mohd Pasha Jeelani, Mohd Omer Khan, Mohd Arif Khan, Mohd Ghouse Uddin Sajji, Mohd Tabrez, Syed Ibrahim, Syed Basheer Khan and Mohd Abubakar.
According to the police, Masiuddin was allegedly threatening and harassing Omer Khan and other suspects and often assaulted them. Pasha Jeelani and Omer Khan decided to eliminate Masiuddin, who was busy distributing his wedding invitation, which was scheduled to take place on April 19.
On Pasha Jeelani and Omer Khan’s request, all other suspects joined them in executing the murder plot.
As per their plan, the suspects waylaid and stabbed Masiuddin to death at Dabeerpura.
Following a tip-off, the police nabbed the suspects at Dabeerpura and seized the incriminating material.
