Eight-year-old girl dies of electric shock in Khammam’s Tallada

An eight-year-old girl from Yadavallapudi Bazaar in Narayanapuram village, Tallada mandal, died after accidentally touching live electric wires at an under-construction house.

Khammam: An eight-year-old girl died of electric shock at Narayanapuram village of Tallada mandal in the district on Thursday.

According to locals, the girl K Karthika of Yadavalua Bazaar at the village went to play at an under-construction house near her home. She accidentally came in touch with live electric wires and suffered severe injuries.


She was rushed to a hospital at Wyra, where the doctors checked the girl and declared her dead. The death of the girl has caused a pall of gloom to descend on Narayanapuram as the locals mourned the death of the child.
