Elderly man attacked by ox dies in Adilabad

Adilabad: An elderly man died when he sustained serious internal injuries after an ox attacked him at Budumdevnagar hamlet under Shyampur village in Utnoor mandal on Saturday.
Makkala Sailu (70) from the hamlet received critical internal injuries when the ox attacked him while he was walking along a street. He was immediately shifted to a government hospital in Utnoor mandal centre. Doctors declared that he was brought dead.
The ox, which was in a shed near the street, suddenly lifted Sailu up using its head and threw him to the ground, locals said. Sailu is survived by his wife and daughter.
