Elderly woman dies of heart attack after grandchild’s shocking death in Jangaon
An eighteen-month-old girl died after accidentally falling into a water sump at her home in Ambedkar Nagar, Jangaon. Grief-stricken, her grandmother suffered a fatal heart attack soon after.
Jangaon: The death of an eighteen-month-old child has caused the child’s grandmother to lose her life under shock at the Jangaon district headquarters on Wednesday.
According to sources, the child, Maraboina Priyanshi died after falling into a water sump while playing in the house at Ambedkar Nagar in the town. Overcome with grief at the child’s death, her grandmother, Nagamma (65) suffered a fatal heart attack while weeping and died.
A pall of gloom descended over the colony as the family lost two members in the same household.
