Suryapet: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy on Monday said State government employees were playing a crucial role in the implementation of welfare schemes and development programmes.

Releasing the new year diary of TNGOs Association at Suryapet, Jagadish Reddy said government employees have been striving hard to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach the people of the State. He also assured that he would solve the issues faced by employees in the district, besides helping them in the construction of a building for TNGOs Association at Suryapet.

District Collector T Vinay Krishna Reddy asked the employees to work with dedication in implementing the welfare schemes and development programmes. A room would be allocated for TNGOs Association office in the Integrated District Collectorate building which will be inaugurated soon, he said, and urged the employees to work with unity and bring good reputation to the district.

TNGOs Association state president Mamilla Rajender said the association had brought the issues of employees to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao who addressed them. He also urged the Centre to increase the Income Tax limit for employees in the next budget.
