Encounter in Chhattisgarh’s Kanker, one female Maoist killed
A female Maoist was killed in an encounter with DRG and BSF personnel in the forests of Kanker district, Chhattisgarh. The gunfight occurred during a search operation. Weapons were recovered and intermittent firing continued in the region. Identity remains unknown.
Kothagudem: One Maoist was killed in an encounter between the security forces and Maoists in the forests between Amatola and Kalpara villages in Kanker district in Chhattisgarh on Friday.
The encounter took place when a joint police party of DRG and BSF personnel was carrying out search operations following information about the presence of Maoists in the hilly jungles under Chhotebethiya police station limits.
The body of a female Maoist was recovered along with weapons. Intermittent firing and search operation going on. The identity of the killed was not known yet.
