Hyderabad: “Everybody has to learn about environmental concerns,” said former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu while unveiling the Telugu version of the book titled “Sikharayamanudu,” a biography of Dr AVS Raju in a programme held in the city on Sunday.
He said ,”the environmental impact is evident on both the nation and the world. We have seen that governments are chopping down trees in the name of development. However, we must learn that for every tree chopped down, we should plant ten trees.”

“Once upon a time, India was like a Vishwa Guru, and the lives of Shivaji, Rana Pratap, Alluri Sitarama Raju, and Veerapandya Katta Bommana should be introduced in our lessons for the present and future generations. We should draw inspiration from them,” said Naidu.
Former Union Aviation Minister P Ashoka Gajapati Raju unveiled another book titled, ‘Standing Tall,’ an English version of the same book.
