Excise police attacked by tribal farmers during ganja raid in Narayankhed
Excise officials were attacked by tribal farmers in Narayankhed mandal while attempting to remove ganja saplings hidden within a cotton field. One constable was injured in the scuffle. The police later intervened, uprooted the illegal crop, and arrested the accused farmer.

Sangareddy: Tribal farmers in Narayankhed mandal attacked excise police when they tried to remove ganja saplings being cultivated amid a cotton field at Challagidda thanda on Saturday.
Acting on a tip-off, the excise police reached the agricultural field, where farmer Janakiram and his relatives reportedly obstructed the officials, snatched their mobile phones and assaulted them. One excise constable sustained a minor injury during the scuffle.
The excise officials later sought assistance from local police, who reached the spot, removed the ganja saplings, and took Janakiram into custody. A case has been registered, and investigation is underway.
