Expedite NIMZ land procurement process: Special CS Sanjay Kumar to officials
Special Chief Secretary (Industries) Sanjay Kumar urged officials to create awareness among locals about the benefits of the NIMZ.

Sangareddy: Special Chief Secretary (Industries) Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday directed officials to construct a protective boundary around lands already acquired for the National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ) in the district.
Reviewing the progress of land acquisition with district officials at the Collectorate, Sanjay Kumar said the government had so far acquired 7,300 acres out of the 12,630 acres required in Nyalkal and Jharasangam mandals. He instructed officials to expedite the acquisition of the remaining land.
Kumar also emphasised the need to fast-track the distribution of rehabilitation and resettlement packages for those displaced by the project. He urged officials to create awareness among locals about the benefits of the NIMZ, which is expected to generate thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities.
District Collector Valluru Kranti, Telangana Industrial and Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) Chairman Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Zaheerabad RDO Ram Reddy and other officials were present.
