Expedite works of Medak Collectorate, Police Headquarters: Harish to officials
Harish Rao, on a visit to Medak district on Thursday, reviewed the progress of the works of Medak Collectorate, Police Headquarters, and others works besides participating in various other programmes.
Medak: Finance Minister T Harish Rao instructed the officials to expedite the works and complete the Integrated District Collectorate Complex in Medak by November.
The Minister, realising that the works at the Police Headquarters were not going on at desired pace, asked the Police Housing Corporation officials to cancel the contract immediately and invite fresh tenders within a week.
Harish Rao, on a visit to Medak district on Thursday, reviewed the progress of the works of Medak Collectorate, Police Headquarters, and others works besides participating in various other programmes.
After inaugurating the Badminton Court at PNR Indoor Stadium, Rao laid a foundation for construction of Integrated Market, which will be built with an outlay of Rs 4.5 crore and Vaikunthdham that will be constructed by spending Rs 2 crore.
As the officials informed him that 2,900 2-BHK houses were ready for inauguration across Medak district, Harish Rao asked them to complete all the minor works so that they can hand over them to beneficiaries by Dasara. Later, the Minister laid the foundation for Integrated Market and Vaikuntadhama in Narsapur Municipality. He also reviewed the progress of the works under the Municipality on this occasion. MLC C Madan Reddy and others were present.
