Extra Mile Foundation’s hope run raises funds for neonatal treatment

Hyderabad: The Extra Mile Foundation conducted the 4th edition of Premiethon – The Hope Run on Sunday at T-Works, Raidurg, bringing together thousands of people in support of underprivileged and critically ill premature newborns.
The annual event is held to mark World Prematurity Day and World Newborn Week, reinforcing the urgent need to strengthen neonatal care and ensure that every premature baby receives a fighting chance at life.
This year’s Premiethon witnessed participation of more than 2,500 runners, and all funds raised from the event directly support neonatal care and treatment for premature babies admitted across multiple hospitals, a press release said.
Dr. Nitasha Bagga, Founder, the Extra Mile Foundation emphasised that Premiethon is not just a run, but a movement to ensure equitable access to neonatal care.
