Megastar Chiranjeevi has appealed to his fans to take part in plantation drive Green India Challenge. The actor took to his Twitter handle on Saturday and wrote, “We all owe it to Mother Nature. To fight climate change & air pollution, let’s plant saplings & grow trees. This year, I urge all my loving fans to plant 3 saplings on my birthday to show your love & tag #HaraHaiTohBharaHai to support #GreenIndiaChallenge campaign. @MPsantoshtrs(sic).”

A mega plantation drive is being planned on Sunday marking Chiranjeevi’s birthday. The Megastar appealed to people to plant as many trees as possible to minimise the cause of natural calamities, to check pollution and for the well-being of future generations.

“To do this, all of you should participate in MP Joginpally Santosh Kumar initiated Green India Challenge by planting saplings and tag me on twitter(sic),” Chiranjeevi urged his fans.

Responding to Chiru’s tweets, MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar thanked the Megastar. The MP also said that the tweets from Chiranjeevi show the love the film star has for the protection of the environment and desired that the Megastar’s fans should plant saplings and give them as a gift to Chiru. The MP suggested that every fan should tag actor Chiranjeevi on social media, thus encouraging everyone to take up the cause. He also wished that the Megastar, who enthralled crores of fans, should be blessed with health and wealth.
