Farmer critically injured in wild boar attack in Asifabad

A farmer from Goyagaon village in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district was critically injured after being attacked by wild boars while returning from his field. Locals rushed to his aid and shifted him to hospitals in Tiryani and later Mancherial.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A farmer sustained serious injuries when a group of wild boars attacked him while he was returning from his farm at Goyagaon village on Friday.

Locals said that Meka Bheemesh received critical injuries when the boars gored him. Some farmers working in nearby fields came to his rescue when he raised an alarm. He was initially shifted to a hospital in Tiryani and then to a hospital in Mancherial for better treatment. His condition was said to be critical.

Forest officials who inspected the spot of the incident assured they would reimburse medical expenses to the farmer. They urged farmers to remain cautious of wild boars while working in fields.
